Leos (July 23 to August 22) are among the kings of the zodiac. They are generous and warm-hearted, creative, faithful and loving. They can be prideful and dominant, however. In Greek mythology, Leo was the lion that was killed by Hercules as the first of his 12 chores. Leos are spontaneous and extroverted. Leo is a born leader, cheerful and optimistic.

They conquer obstacles the same way a lion conquers their foes—like a hunter, who spots his prey, stalks, and pounces.  Leos tend to be very focused on their goals and ambitions. Like the king of beasts, they like to be in command and make good leaders. They have strong intelligence and can be philosophical, even religious. Leos like to be the center of attention and have powerful egos. They can be resentful if they’re not the center of attention. Leos occasionally need to remember that less is more and they can attract as much attention if they stop trying so hard to get it. It’s that pride thing, again.

In the expansive and broad-minded sign of Sagittarius, the Moon takes on a special radiance and shine that is distinct from other moon signs. Sagittarius is the astrological sign of long journeys and higher education. Here, the Moon urges a more active mode of existence. If your Moon is in Sagittarius, you are recognized for your sharp, incisive mind, excellent insights, and ability to get things done in a jiffy.

Your clear-thinking mind examines sensory information swiftly and with alarming efficacy. You are the sort of individual who envisions large goals and then sets about accomplishing them undeterred by the scope of the task. You seldom heed advice about potential pitfalls and drawbacks, nor wait to see if a plan is unrealistic or untenable. With optimism and enthusiasm, you race in and normally succeed in what you set out to do. With a Moon in Sagittarius, there is a lofty vision, and an ability to see farther than people with the Moon in other signs.

Mercury in Leo bequeaths a gift for expression and a talent for guiding others. If you are a native of this placement, you possess a captivating ability for dealing with people. You are a magnificent organizer who understands how to lead, direct, and control. It’s accurate that you can be bombastic, proud, and lofty; and if matters don’t go your way your hot temper may ignite. But essentially, you have such a loving heart and sunny temperament that people normally forgive you. There is a flashy expansiveness to your viewpoint. Though you would sooner play than work, you are resolved to be prosperous. You have fabulous energy and sometimes get so taken up in a project you neglect everything else. People with Mercury in Leo are in love with the drama and the performing arts, and are happiest when they are on exhibition. Artistic fields interest you and you dislike dull routine work.

Venus-Leos are able to effortlessly draw warm responses from others. There is something so fascinating, so irresistibly attractive, about you that you enjoy fabulous acclaim. You are exceedingly loving and charitable, purchasing costly gifts for those you cherish and adore them to the skies in the presence of other people. Of course, what you need in return is a strong commitment, loyalty, and loads of attention.

You must constantly be assertive in a love affair. “All the world’s a stage” was penned about your passionate nature. No one can make a fuss or confrontation as exciting as a Venus-Leo. Needless to say, you are attracted to the business of performance, and many of you are endowed with splendid artistic faculties. You also love dainty possessions—property, garments, gems, furs. Though self-indulgent and pleasure-seeking, you are able of making vast self-sacrifice for the comfort of someone else.

While Mars is in Libra, the energy of this planet appears to alternate. You are changeable and sensual in your sexuality. A great abundance of your force is spent developing emotional connections. Yet you possess a listless attitude toward sex and frequently must be sought after rather than act as the pursuer.

You are utopian and aesthetic; crudeness of any sort turns you off. You fancy relationships with cultivated, mature lovers, but tend to grow connected in troubled hookups. This placement of Mars is great for a different artistic or literary genius. There is great elegance and discretion in your work. You have a desirable ability to make a pleasant impact on the populace. Mars-Librans believe deeply in fair play. Your efforts are always prefaced by a careful evaluating of the pros and cons.

Timid and attractive, the Rabbits of the Chinese Zodiac tend to act more like bunnies, whether they like it or not! This Sign is extremely popular and has a wide circle of family and friends. Its compassionate nature leads it to be very protective of those it holds dear, but where romance is concerned, the Rabbit’s sentimentality can lead it to idealize relationships. The sweet, sensitive Rabbit often ends up giving more of itself to a partner than is realistic or healthy. The good news is, when this Sign goes off-balance, the Rabbit’s core group of friends and its stable home life help bring it back to center.

Lacking close, supportive friends and family, the Rabbit might just break down in tears at the first sign of conflict. The Rabbit is a rather delicate Sign that needs a solid base in order to thrive. Lacking close, supportive friends and family, the Rabbit might just break down in tears at the first sign of conflict. Emotional upsets in this Sign’s life can even lead to physical illnesses. Rabbits dislike arguments and other conflict and will try anything to avoid a fight; this results in something of a pushover nature. Rabbits can also lapse into pessimism and may seem stuck in life — often to mask their insecure natures. Rabbits tend to move through life’s lessons at their own, rather contemplative pace; it’s a waste of time to become exasperated with this Sign’s seeming disinterest in facing its problems and conquering them.

Nurturing yet dangerous, vital and deadly, water is a ripe with contradiction. In moderate amounts it is a blessing, in over abundance, a curse. Water is the only element with the ability to put out fire and make things grow and thrive. Water is vital to our very survival. Without water crops wither and die and there is no food. The human body, and in fact, all life on Earth is dependent upon water. Yet, even for life, water has the potential to be deadly. Too much water in the body leads to water intoxication and even death. It is, however, a delicate balance.

Too little water and all life withers and dies with the effects of the hot sun. Too much water chokes out needed oxygen and drowns. It is for this very reason the element water is represented by the color black. Water rules intelligence and wisdom. People born under the element water are uncommonly intelligent and capable. For all their wisdom and reasoning ability, water people tend to have difficulty making and sticking to decisions. Diplomatic, and intuitive, water people are flexible. They have a special ability to ‘go with the flow’ and are usually easygoing.

In the Myers Briggs, the ISTP personality type is described as an introvert who is quiet and reflective but also enjoys having stimulating experiences. They are flexible and adaptable and tend to possess good mechanical and technical ability. ISTPs are known for being good with their hands and are good at figuring out and mastering machine work and physical skills including those involved in sports. Furthermore, ISTPs, while smart, may not find academic school work interesting or well suited to their learning style.

They prefer hands-on learning styles and learning about things they can use or apply in concrete ways rather than theories that exist only as concepts. They are logical and observant of their surroundings. ISTPs are interested in understanding how things work and tend to be good at deconstructing things and troubleshooting problems in the most efficient way possible. As perceivers, they prefer spontaneity and freedom over security and structure and they like to immerse themselves in their hobbies or craft in which they are likely to develop a deep knowledge and or mastery over.
